I just adore my Hannah! She is so caring and loving. Lately she has been asking me to tell her "my favorites". I tuck her in bed and before my feet can reach the door she will say "Mommy what is your favorite _________?" She has asked me what my favorite baby animal is, my favorite flower, my favorite color and assorted others too. They are all random things she wants to know about me. How special is that?? I'm not sure what she is doing with all her information but that she even cares enough to ask about simple little things that get so lost when you're a busy mommy. I know that she is growing up but she is still my little "Bee" and I love her!

A Beaming Mother
How can you not beam when your child's teacher says, "He is a wonderful boy, he is a model student."
GASP!!! Of course I well up with pride, saying to myself "huh, would you expect anything less."
But the truth of the matter is he looks good on the outside but let's examine his heart!
I love my little Elijah and I am very proud of him that he doesn't struggle to sit still or be diligent in class that he tries his hardest and is a really good student. But God has given him those strengths, not me. But God has also chosen to give him great weakness' too. He needs to have a heart transplant. My prayer for him is that he will choose to LOVE above all else. It is very hard to love your annoying sister, your too rough big brother and your very loud and disruptive destructive little brother, your Mom who has to ask you to repeat yourself because she has some hearing loss from that 2 year old and your Dad who tells you "no" or catches you asking your Mom for something you were already told no for and getting into trouble. Yeah he's a "model student" but his heart is what God sees and we must train him up to fear God and not man, to care only about what God cares about and not what man cares about.
I love you endlessly Elijah and I am very proud of you!
