Growing Up

Something is Dying
So what do you guess it could be???
Washer
Dryer
Oven
Dishwasher
Hot Water Heater
Car
DVD player (although this is going out too)
Computer
??????
No it's my camera!!! I think it quite possibly could be the most important thing when you have children. So when you see a little pink around the edges of my pictures you can tell it's dying. It's all so DEVASTATING!!!!!
Here's a funny thing though. I tried to take capture a most precious moment that happened the other day and when I turned it on the screen went black and fuzzy, so I couldn't get a picture of that moment. Such a bummer, but the picture will last in my memory forever. So I have been crying and moaning all weekend. Then when we were flipping through pictures from the summer I found that my teenager doesn't even look the same as he did in August!!! GASP, I am now whining a little more seeing as if he is changing so quickly how can I not just snap a few photos of him, it's all so frustrating!!!! So I grab my camera and turn it on and as it has been doing the screen is black and then all of a sudden.....It's clear as a bell. So I grab Scott and we run outside and I snapped some fab pictures. I hope you enjoy them, because with an unreliable camera this may be all you will get for awhile. Stay tuned for the next post!!!

Bye-Bye Baby Boy
I have had the tough job of saying goodbye to my little baby. He is quite a smart little tike. His vocabulary is quite large. He astonishes us everyday with what he picks up and says. He potty trained quite easily, much easier and earlier than my other 2 boys. And this just topped it, as any Mom knows that once you cut off the "baby" hair it is never as soft or ever the same again. And since this is my last baby it has been hard to let him grow up. I joke around that he is a 13 year old locked up in a 2 year old body and he is trying to get out. Anyone who has met him, knows this to be sooo true. He is a blast to be around. But it is so sad to say good-bye to his baby things. I'm glad he still likes his "taggy", but he won't snuggle with me at all. He has too many things to learn and do. So for all of those who have been patiently waiting here is the new and amazingly look alike to Scott, Shad Daniel-Jaxon Schmitt!
